The doctoral project aims to develop an innovative technological system for landslide prevention and monitoring, with particular attention to the influence of land consumption and climate change. The research will adopt a multidisciplinary approach, integrating geological, geomorphological, meteorological, and satellite data, remote sensing techniques, in situ monitoring, numerical modelling, and advanced data analysis. The work will involve three main phases: data collection and integration, development of a monitoring platform with automated warning systems, and comparative analysis of pilot sites characterised by different climatic and morphological conditions. The objective is to develop predictive models and operational guidelines for Early Warning systems, supporting land management and risk reduction. The expected results will contribute to improving landslide prevention and community resilience, with applications that can be replicated at national and international levels.
