ARIZA PARDO ADRIANA

My research presents multi-scale geological mapping of an equatorial region on the lunar nearside between Apollo 15 and 17 landing sites, integrating LROC WAC/NAC, Kaguya TC/MI, SLDEM2015, and Clementine UVVIS datasets to assess In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) targets. The study emphasizes pyroclastic deposits—particularly dark mantle materials—as high-priority ISRU resources for volatile extraction and oxygen production in support of Artemis, Chang'e-7/8, and ILRS missions. By integrating composition, albedo, morphology, and crater statistics across multiple scales, this work maps pyroclastic deposits and identifies ISRU-viable landing sites for future lunar missions. Results will be integrated into ASI's MATISSE platform, providing geological context for mission planning and resource assessment in lunar equatorial regions.
